I think part of why Hikaru is not so 8E with Aoko is that he's starting to realize that oh hey! She's kinda like him. Normal. Well. In the sense that we don't have super human strengths that deals with death and stuff. Man, even Kit has had murders in his family okay.
And I mean, he doesn't KNOW KNOW Aoko is normal. For all he knows, Aoko is secretly the Black Org top boss okay. But at least he gets the impression that hey, she gets traumatized the same way he does1 :( And in a way, that's a comfort. "I AM USELESS BUT AT LEAST I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE?" It's kind of a selfish idea admittedly but..well. It's how he feels. 8'D And thus he likes her! She's a nice girl who is pushy but not obnoxious. SHE WILL GOSSIP WITH HIM. And obviously, she is a very important person to Kit and that is the most important thing. '-'
