Hikaru: NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED HERE REALLY. Kit is still super super fond of Hikaru as a teammate and a friend, and he enjoys teasing him and poking at him and laughing with him. He meant it when he said he enjoyed Hikaru's company because he laughed-- especially since he realizes that Hikaru takes things like trauma-y games and lost teammates really hard. It's part of the reason he goes out of his way to cheer Hikaru up with jokes and things, because HEART AND SMILE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS (though he'd never say that out loud since that phrase is based on memories). And Kit is just a jokey guy by nature, so having someone willing to join in on that is very nice! He and Hikaru are also both super duper troublemakers, and he definitely recognizes the troublemaker in Hikaru, so one day he is probably going to recruit him for a prank or something |D
And of course, in addition to all that, Kit feels very protective of Hikaru, and has no problems stepping forward and shielding his bro from danger. :|b This also means that Kit has no problems putting himself in danger for this so... orz.

HIKARU - HEART GAME. '^' I need to test this stuff out man. I'm worried it's too big but then at the same time, I'm worried there's not enough junk to it! BUT I AM EXCITE FOR IT. I want to do it next round omg, but November is not that far away and I am afraid that I won't be ready for it by then. But I do have a skeleton/map of it so maybe it'll be alright.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR HIKARU HEART GAME '-' So excited for that yeeeees.
I have a sort of character arc planned for Kit at this point! Like, I know where I'd like for his development to go and I have a few ideas on how to take it there, but I'm keeping myself open for spontaneous and unexpected development as well as per RP, so I'm a little excited about that! I'm also willing to wait for a super long time for said development to occur since two weeks is not enough IC time for him to really change too much. Beyond that, I am still itching to test his morals by shoving him into tough situations where he has to make difficult choices with serious consequences. And for smaller things, I really want to do a MAGIC TRICKS post for him some day, and then of course something with his athleticism once he earns that skill back.
HE IS...PRETTY SOLID but I think a lot of is also him trying to hide his feelings deeeeeeep inside of himself. So a lot of denial 8D;; He misses the others a LOT, and despite the fact that he loves you, Shirley and Chuck, he probably still gets really sad before bedtime and sniffle a bit or something because of it. There's also this constant fear that people are going to get hurt again and he doesn't know what to do about it. '-'
AS A KID IN AATHER, HE IS ACTUALLY...PRETTY USELESS LOL which is another issue. Because like, he's starting to really feel like the baby of the team lol and in a way, A BABY IN AATHER. '3' And then he meets more people that he likes like Leo and Mikage! Games HAVE been kind of fun, as much as he hates to admit it, and they do beat trauma games! No heart games recently either! '-' SO the trauma feelings are still there but at least there are happy feelings to help blanket them too! ♥

Rabbit has taken the teacher role with Kit, in a lot of ways. Kit respects Rabbit a lot, because she is kind yet stern and is willing to pass on her skills to people she knows. She willingly taught Kit how to sew pockets and is teaching him how to cook, and she has a very big sisterly aura about her. So while Kit wouldn't let her boss him around, per se (but he wouldn't let anyone do that), he definitely looks up to her and is more than happy to go to her for advice/assistance on learning new things when he needs it.
Dragonfly is the support and team identity role! Kit isn't really in a place right now where he necessarily needs support, emotional or otherwise, nor is he really the type to seek it out when he does need it. He's hardheaded and independent and tends to keep to himself when things go bad. Hikaru, on the other hand, is not like that at all. Hikaru leans on his team very heavily in bad times, and even in good times, and is openly expressive about how much he cares about them. He is also probably the most physically affectionate member of the team, and because of Hikaru, Kit has gotten used to physical displays of affection from Coral members (he would still be all bzuh if he got them from other people, though). Kit perceives Hikaru as having the strongest team identity out of all of them. Kit, being independent and a little self-centered at the moment, isn't really likely to mirror Hikaru's behavior anytime soon. But even with that, Hikaru is showing him that team identities and relying on team support is okay! And depending on how things develop, that team identity behavior could rub off on Kit to the point of where he starts learning that he doesn't necessarily have to handle bad things alone.
Although Fawn is new, her role is kind of the spunky and curious partner in crime. Not that she and Kit have done any PARTNER IN CRIME type things just yet, but her energy and optimism really resonate with Kit, and he appreciates that in her! She's curious and wide-eyed and willing to take risks, much like he is, so he can empathize with that part of her a lot at this point in time. He would probably encourage her to satisfy her curiosity more often than not and follow her happily into ADVENTURES and EXPLORATIONS if it ever came up.
Ferret's role is very similar to Dragonfly's, in a way, in that she kind of encourages Kit to be more open with people (even though he hasn't started following up with that yet). But instead of being support like Hikaru is, she is more honesty. A-again, I don't necessarily think Kit is going to be OPEN AND HONEST with people like Dragonfly and Ferret are, but with two people around him who are passively encouraging him to open up to others for support and assistance, I wouldn't be surprised if all this started rubbing off on Kit. Shirley encourages Kit to be honest with his feelings and the things that happen to him, to tell people about what's bothering him and so on and so forth. And with a little bit of time, he could actually start taking these lessons away from her and putting them to use.
Zelos iiiis the snarky joker, in that Kit finds himself being sarcastic and cracking jokes with him the most out of anyone in Coral. While Kit teases Dragonfly and Ferret, those two don't necessarily dip into dry humor with him much. Zelos does! And Kit appreciates that and very much enjoys it. Zelos kind of defaults to humor to hide things like Kit is starting to do, so in a way, Zelos is kind of reinforcing his (what started off as very shaky) canon ideals of joking through badness 8'D Zelos's own jokey coping methods are part of what encourages Kit to try to cheer up his down teammates with a smile, too. The joking through badness is kiiind of an opposing force to what Shirley and Dragonfly are teaching him, so there is definitely some tension there (not visible tension at all, though, since all of this is unconscious and Kit doesn't even realize it's happening). Also, I predict that iiin the future, once Kit earns back memories of his father's murder, Zelos might slip into an empathizer role with him, since Zelos lost his mother in a tragic murder as well. So then not only will Kit be able to understand Zelos's need to joke, but he'll also be able empathize with losing a parent.
AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, Hound is the protector. This is actually a really interesting role and it really didn't come about until Rumpelstiltskin ran his game and Kit realized that he has differing views on how to handle murder games than most of his teammates. Kit is very much a protector, not a protectee, and the idea that he has to stand around and watch while people get hurt really strikes a negative chord with him. But Hound was talking about how he didn't want to see anyone from Coral die and how he'd leap in to take any damage necessary to prevent this, and Kit was like "But then who protects you?" in response. So while Kit is just naturally a protective person of those he cares about, Hound definitely increases that by also being protective! During bad games, I'm sure Kit will be side-eyeing Hound (and Rabbit, since her name was mentioned as well) to make sure they don't try to take all of the burden onto themselves. I think... since he understands what it's like to want to protect people, he'll let them from time to time, but he won't let them carry it all on their shoulders :x
SO IN ESSENCE, here's a summary:
Because Rabbit is on the team, Kit is learning new things and trying to better himself.
Because Dragonfly is on the team, Kit is observing that it is okay to rely on the team for support.

He would probably encourage her to satisfy her curiosity more often than not and follow her happily into ADVENTURES and EXPLORATIONS if it ever came up.
Ferret's role is very similar to Dragonfly's, in a way, in that she kind of encourages Kit to be more open with people (even though he hasn't started following up with that yet). But instead of being support like Hikaru is, she is more honesty. A-again, I don't necessarily think Kit is going to be OPEN AND HONEST with people like Dragonfly and Ferret are, but with two people around him who are passively encouraging him to open up to others for support and assistance, I wouldn't be surprised if all this started rubbing off on Kit. Shirley encourages Kit to be honest with his feelings and the things that happen to him, to tell people about what's bothering him and so on and so forth. And with a little bit of time, he could actually start taking these lessons away from her and putting them to use.
Zelos iiiis the snarky joker, in that Kit finds himself being sarcastic and cracking jokes with him the most out of anyone in Coral. While Kit teases Dragonfly and Ferret, those two don't necessarily dip into dry humor with him much. Zelos does! And Kit appreciates that and very much enjoys it. Zelos kind of defaults to humor to hide things like Kit is starting to do, so in a way, Zelos is kind of reinforcing his (what started off as very shaky) canon ideals of joking through badness 8'D Zelos's own jokey coping methods are part of what encourages Kit to try to cheer up his down teammates with a smile, too. The joking through badness is kiiind of an opposing force to what Shirley and Dragonfly are teaching him, so there is definitely some tension there (not visible tension at all, though, since all of this is unconscious and Kit doesn't even realize it's happening). Also, I predict that iiin the future, once Kit earns back memories of his father's murder, Zelos might slip into an empathizer role with him, since Zelos lost his mother in a tragic murder as well. So then not only will Kit be able to understand Zelos's need to joke, but he'll also be able empathize with losing a parent.
AND LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, Hound is the protector. This is actually a really interesting role and it really didn't come about until Rumpelstiltskin ran his game and Kit realized that he has differing views on how to handle murder games than most of his teammates. Kit is very much a protector, not a protectee, and the idea that he has to stand around and watch while people get hurt really strikes a negative chord with him. But Hound was talking about how he didn't want to see anyone from Coral die and how he'd leap in to take any damage necessary to prevent this, and Kit was like "But then who protects you?" in response. So while Kit is just naturally a protective person of those he cares about, Hound definitely increases that by also being protective! During bad games, I'm sure Kit will be side-eyeing Hound (and Rabbit, since her name was mentioned as well) to make sure they don't try to take all of the burden onto themselves. I think... since he understands what it's like to want to protect people, he'll let them from time to time, but he won't let them carry it all on their shoulders :x
SO IN ESSENCE, here's a summary:
Because Rabbit is on the team, Kit is learning new things and trying to better himself.
Because Dragonfly is on the team, Kit is observing that it is okay to rely on the team for support.
Because Fawn is on the team, Kit remains energetic and curious and feels like he has someone who understands that part of him.
Because Ferret is on the team, Kit is observing that it's okay to be honest about things.
Because Zelos is on the team, Kit is learning to snark and joke through sadness and how to cheer up others when they are down, along with how to honestly enjoy happiness in between the sad times.
And because Hound is on the team, Kit wants to carry part of the team's burden along with him and Rabbit.
