YOU ARE A HORRIBLE MEAN PERSON.

As I told Kit, Rabbit was the one that Hikaru could be the most vulnerable with! It wasn't necessarily with secrets or such, but at the same time, if she had asked for secrets, he probably would have told her without any hesitation AND PROBABLY WOULD SHOW ALL OF THE FEELINGS ATTACHED. I think it was because it seemed to him that Rabbit could read his feelings anyway and deep down, he knew that so it was just easy to just lower his defenses around her in a way he couldn't with anyone else. SECURITY BLANKET ALMOST.

And not even just that, he genuinely loves her. :( He loves all of Coral but Rabbit has been there since the very beginning when he knew absolutely nothing and shared memories with her and was his first heart game and I THINK IT WAS RABBIT WHO GAVE HIM HIS NAME and just.....derederederederedere. He's gonna miss her tremendously and he will legit take dusting and first aid seriously and will keep ALL OF HIS PROMISES.

I think it will hit him most when he goes home and he suddenly realizes that she isn't in her room anymore. And then maybe he will just go to his bed and cry in his pillow a little bit (AS LONG AS NO ONE IS AROUND) and then just be miserable and call her right away and demand she comes visit soon. (/;A;)/

Yes, but not the way she's making out in her goodbye post! (Which is still going on, I am just getting REALLY SLOW at picking back up because I have current Viola threads, too, and what is energy.) Basically: she loves Coral, but she was really starting to chafe under the team identification thing because it's so similar to what happens to her in canon: she's subsumed into another identity that doesn't match who she really is.

She'll miss the individuals from Coral, but she won't miss Coral-as-a-unit, because she needs to go out and do things her own way for a while. Notjabber's confirmation that she was still an extension of her team was pretty much the final straw in her NEED TO BE SOMEWHERE ELSE pile.

So, in the sense, is she sad to be going off on her own? No. Not at all. She probably won't even call, herself-- people are probably going to have to call her, even Viridian. But once she burns off some of the initial bad feelings, she is going to want to come back and hug all her favorite people, of which Dragonfly is definitely one. And she'll probably worry if he doesn't candle-call, she'll just… you know… convince herself that everything's okay and she's not needed, because Ayame.
